First hill work out for the Next Step training program. Per Coach Conrad's notes they did at least 5 x 0.25mile hills in a 4-6 mile run.

Due to work schedule yesterday, I had to run a hill workout on my own today.

I ran Carrs Mill Hills right out of front door to save time.

Approx 1.5 mile warmup, 3 x ~1/2 mile longer hills with same distance easy recovery run in between,

3 x ~1/3 mile shorter hills on same hill with same distance recovery in between,

~1.5 mile cool down.

I worked hills pretty hard at mostly 6:40-7 minute pace. Quads are pretty rocked during the cool down. Probably gonna feel it tomorrow on the easy run.

Hope to do long easy or long mild tempo run on Friday and moderate long on saturday maybe @ mid-tempo pace.
