Not a cutdown but closest category. Group 4 called for 6:30 pace, even pacing on track, for 3.5 miles. I grew impatient after 2 laps (and the second was slow), so took the lead and ended up pacing around 95,96 seconds each lap. It was magical. It was the kind of workout I always hope I'll have, that felt so good and so smooth and in control, yet still challenging.E.g. I could not have maintained the 3A 6:15's gracefully. First mile 6:25, 2nd 6:22, 3rd 6:20, final 1/2 took 3:05. I started slowing in second to last lap, but Milah took the lead and kicked me back into gear. I kicked hard the final lap. The 200s were fun and I felt strong. WOW what a great workout! So glad to have Milah with me keeping me honest! 3 cups of coffee today might have helped.
