Group 4, large group, so we changed leader every 800 m. I got the first half mile of mile 3, around the time stomach monster was starting to growl. I think I kept the right pace, not sure, but another gal thankfully took over for the last 800 m and saved me. I fell off her pace a bit, but was happy I hit the goal pace for that mile! Supposed to be mile 1 in 6:32, mile 2 in 6:22, mile 3 in 6:12. If my gut didn't threaten to do something disgusting I am sure I would have been able to kick with the front lady, but twas not to be...
