This was my first run in 5 days due to a hip injury. The hip did great today. I fought the urge to do any intervals or anything strenuous. I had an awareness of the hip, but it did not hurt significantly, and does not hurt now that I have stopped running. I will continue to do serious core strengthening as that seems to help.
