I went out a little bit fast though the first mile is downhill (actually its got both up's and down's but it is more downhill. I then faded. My legs were just exhausted. My hamstring tweaked early in the race and I was huffing and puffing. With better legs I could have run 30 seconds faster. The marathon from 13 days ago, the weight lifting from Monday and Thursday and Wednesday speed session along with the accidental 10 mile run the night before all came together with the end result being I had tired legs, which was bad because it was a hilly course. Hamstring is the main injury and its not that bad. It was raining through the race, a steady rain, but never a downpour.
