I did fade due to fatigue, but miles 11 and 12 were also a bit slower because they were really the only miles on the course going into a headwind. I hit mile 10 and thought I was going to have a monster day in the 1:24's, but it was not to be I did not taper for this race, so I am hoping I could have run 1 to 2 minutes faster fully rested.
