Perfect day. I was feeling a bit down about running, just not seeing improvement and getting frustrated. Then I read Trent's Pike's Peak race report and it really lifted my spirits. Gave me perspective again that it's not all about getting faster or better. Sometimes running is about the experience. Sit back and enjoy the fact that you can do something so very few people you know can. Take in the scenery on a beautiful day. Smile at people as you meet them along the way. It doesn't have to hurt all the time. RELAX.
