I really didn't want to do this run, just low energy before I started. I'm glad I did run though, b/c it was a really nice run where I was able to run a neg. split pretty comfortably. I went out well over 9:30 min/mi and hit the turnaround at 25:15. This run is mostly downhill on the return so that probably helped a bit.
First week of the 12 week program is in the books, and so far, so good! The legs (especially the shins) have held up well for running 5 days for the first time. Just need to keep an eye on them and should be AOK!!! The march to Detroit is officially rollin'...
