Notes
This run was quite possibly the least taxing long run I've ever done. The low-60's temps were quite welcome after last week brought the summer's first hot runs. I would have had to try to bring my heart rate up out of the 130's for the first half, and I didn't. I hadn't had a real easy run in a while, so I let the temps keep things easier instead of faster.
I haven't ever run this exact route before and it's probably the only time I've ever managed to make a 16-miler out of just one giant loop. The new territory helped make the run refreshing.
I ran BOTH new pedestrian bridges: the one over 288 and the one over I-35 by the new stadium. They're really higher up than they seem. The one over 288 jiggled while I ran it. Not sure how I feel about that.
