Hadd test #2. 75-80 degrees and 65% humidity. No wind, though.
My right lower calf/achilles area was really sore for this run. It felt OK starting out, but it got worse the longer I ran. It seemed to hurt less running faster.
I saw some improvement on this test, but some of it was probably due to the lack of wind (vs. 10-15 mph wind last time), and maybe slightly lower temps by a degree or two.
HR 140- 9:16 (-25s)
HR 150- 8:28 (-22s)
HR 160- 7:48 (-24s)
HR 170- 7:25 (-17s)
HR 180- 7:00 (-18s)
The 170 and 180 tests felt uncomfortable. I can tell it's been a while since doing any anaerobic work because it felt like I didn't want to run very long at those paces.
