8 second improvement over the beginning of the season
Quarter mile splits:
1 (starting at .32 miles)- 1:27
2 (.57) - 1:31
3 (.82) - 1:25
4 (1.07) - 1:27
It's possible I could have run this a few seconds faster with another day or two of rest. I could feel my legs start to burn in the first quarter mile. I had hoped to run the first half at 5:50 and then be able to run the second half faster, but I was at 5:54 pace at the halfway point and feeling it hard just to keep the pace. Still, it's an improvement, and I wasn't expecting much.
