Notes
"Boston Marathon Virtual Experience" in Sanger.
Very easy effort, still had sore legs after mile 16. Expected when averaging less than 30 mpw for...like a year and a half? Lol.
Used a headlamp during the first 12, and glad I had it. Still ran slow out of caution. There were some animals moving around in the brush next to the road and I didn't even want to know what they were. I was like haunted house scared for the first 7 miles.
Had hoped to continue west on Lone Oak Rd in Valley View around mile 11, but I nearly got hit by a bus and a hillbilly truck, plus there were random large dogs roaming in front of the trailer "neighborhoods". Noped back to the dirt roads.
Saw a 3-legged dog at mile 15 and he was surprisingly quick. Left knee was sore at mile 17. That was around the time duration I finished the last marathon I ran. Sucked to have 9 miles left.
Nothing else interesting happened, except trying to make my route add up to 26.4ish to account for Garmin margin of error. A little surprised I didn't run this in more like 4:10, but shouldn't complain I barely did any work this summer.
