12 miles w/ 10 from 156-166 (7:46 pace). My legs and hips were still sore this morning, but the cool weather sort of made up for it. 66 and drizzling is too good to pass up in mid-August. Last week, I upped my HR at the end to 165 or so, and I did it again this week. I'm trying to work up to some paces slightly above aerobic.
I'm a little surprised this run didn't turn out faster, with the sudden cool weather and all, but I'm not worried. I know I've still got some hard workouts keeping my legs tired.
