Good evening run. Choice was between that and mowing the lawn, and since it was dark I opted to run. Used my new Bean's headlamp - set it to flash until it got really dark (last 2 miles or so) and then put it on low since the flashing was annoying once it was dark enough to be useful for me to use as a headlamp. It did get the attention of traffic, though, which was pretty considerate of me for a change. I could get used to that...
Had a lady walking her dog and (presumably) her mother complement the flashing headlamp during twilight (it took them until I was close to figure out what was coming at them), plus had a vehicle wait for me to pass before turning in, had a girl catcall to me from a passing (well, idling) truck (I didn't look up since I figured that I didn't need to blind her so no idea if she was cute or not) and had a bunch of cars swing wide to give me plenty of space.
Thank you to all of the considerate drivers this evening! (I wore my shirt w/the reflective sleeves, that probably helped too.)
