Ran about 8 miles barefoot with Jamie this morning. Apparently, Old Orchard Beach is much nicer if you take away the trash and tourists. This is now my longest run since I hurt myself, and my longest barefoot run to date. Temperature was about 38 degrees when we started running, with a headwind for the first half of the out and back. We alternated between running on the sand and running in the water. I meant to take a dip at the end but forgot until getting back to the parking lot so the deepest I went was lower calf.
