Notes
Didn't really mean to run too hard, but there was a group of UMaine kids up front so I busted my hump to get past people (I started 4 or 5 rows back while chatting w/some friends) to work up to them and then let them break the wind for me while we chatted through the 5:16 first mile. The second mile we slowed down a bit but once we got to the hill before the bridge I eased off on the throttle even more - I'd had a longer warmup than I'd expected and would rather run fast on Saturday than today. Managed to pick off one of the UMaine guys that fell off a mile and a half in, the other 3 stayed ahead of me and finished pretty close to one another. Bob Ashby was a bit behind me.
