WAY COLDER THAN I EXPECTED. Wow. I knew it was windy, and I knew that my thermometer likes to lie to me, but I figured, "Hey, it says 80, that means it's probably about 50 degrees out, even with the wind it shouldn't be too bad." Yeah, famous last words. The white caps on Sebago Lake helped chill the wind down so I was very uncomfortable, so I stuck to one loop, it was a great distance, and I had no achilles pain at all so I went home. Which was good timing since the Portland Press Herald called me about 10 seconds after I got home and I spent 45 minutes talking to them before heading out for the last 20.
