Volunteered at the Sea Dog's Mother's Day 5k this morning. I got there around 6:00, didn't have a ton to do for the first hour or so, but then I spent a few hours running race day registrations upstairs to the 3rd level to get put into the computers. After that, I ran down the road to control traffic, but since I was near the starting line this year it didn't take too long. I then went back and helped out the folks in the press box by running down finish line disks so results could be generated and then getting the results posted outside. Managed to fill a few random roles along the way too. It was a very busy 5 hours today. Obviously, my distance and time are estimated and arbitrary, and I actually did quite a bit of running and not just walking.
