Got to Twin Brooks at 5:30 (had a slight detour as we park on the opposite side of the park now) and got a few miles in ahead of time on my own until I saw the Dirigo guys coming the other way and joined them. Chatted with Dan Franek while running with them, then met up with the Trail Monsters at 6:00. Ian is taking care of Mori and Erik brought Djanga so the puppies were having a lot of fun playing while we waited for everyone to arrive. It was dark, and I need to either tighten my headlamp or just wear a heat so that it doesn't bounce around so much when I'm running. I think I'll opt for the hat. Managed to run through all the standing water on the trails, but that was fine. Just meant I had muddier legs than everybody else.
