Got to run through some history this morning at the Fredericksburg battle grounds in some beautiful weather. After getting the "bus tour" version of the history and getting dropped off, I immediately made a bee-line for the trail rather than taking the road and about 3/4 of the group that was with me followed suit. They were some nice easily runnable trails, which let out on the road back, but I found another trail not far up the road that led to a field where the slave huts were from this piece of property. Stopped to read about the battle at various points to see where Stonewall Jackson stopped Meade, where Meade broke through, etc. Lots of fun.
