Notes
Ran 5 of the 6 laps of a Fat Ass 50k in Lisbon put on by Val and Linda. It was a lot of fun, although my right achilles was aching a little bit in the last lap and since Erin only ran 3 laps I was easily talked out of running the last one. After I stopped the Achilles really started to ache so I'm glad I stopped.
Conditions were very Spring like; after the first lap I was running in shorts and a t-shirt. There was a lot of snow and ice in various patches, but there was even more bare ground. It was not like most days in February most years.
As usual, there was a ton of good food, including some really good chili and a garlic soup that required 90 cloves of garlic. 2 servings of chili managed to get rid of my garlic breath for our drive after the Fat Ass so I didn't bug Erin too much with the garlic breath.
