Ran from Riverton Elementary and stopped in at my barber to ask her to donate to the 1 more mile challenge - great place. Forest Ave Barber Shop I think it's called. I didn't actually run far on the lunch loop though because I didn't trust the roads so I did a 3/5 of a mile loop in the neighborhoods behind Forest Ave over and over again until I got up around 5 miles, then I did a little more looping in the neighborhood next to the school. Managed to hit the door in 6 miles exactly.
It was tough going in the snow, since the plows hadn't been out for a bit. Rather like a treadmill...my foot would slide back with each step.
