Had a great workout this evening. Weather was great, breeze was light, only passed 1 car once I got in the back neighborhood where I was running my loops. I wanted 4 miles at marathon pace, but the first mile I couldn't settle into the right pace so it was a bit slow and I wound up doing 4 more miles after that, which were all right at pace. The figure 8 in that neighborhood was a bit over a mile long, so that worked out pretty well. Gonna have to try to get a long run in at marathon pace at some point in the next week and a half by doing loops up there. Better than Jeff's method of using a track.
