Was running 15 minutes late for the workout since I took Lillian for a walk at home before leaving. Saw Andy in the parking lot and the two of us just had a shorter warmup until we met up with the rest of the Dirigo guys and started the workout. Same workout as 2 weeks ago but with a few extra reps. I kept consistent for the first 4 but my right calf was starting to bug me and the rest of the guys were pulling away despite my beginning to run negative splits for the speed component of the loop. I decided for #5 if I had a good negative split I'd quit, and I did, but then I figured what the hell, only 1 loop left, and ran another solid negative split. Jogged it in easy the rest of the way then cooled down with the guys and went home rather than trying to hook up with the trail monsters. I was beat.
