Ran barefoot with Jamie along Old Orchard Beach. We went out 5 miles then turned around and came back. Coming back was easier despite the headwind, since we probably started a little too early while the tide was still a bit high. Footing was a lot better.
Wore my Zensah leg sleeves which means they got pretty soaked since we had to wade through mid-calf water a few times, but they didn't get cold. The unseasonably warm 45 degree temperatures probably contributed to that, plus the water is still relatively warm.
Got chased by an off the leash dog a few miles from the car on the way back. I just covered my crotch and presented my side to it, but the guy I guess wanted to set a good example in front of his 7 year old kid so he started cussing Jamie out after Jamie told him he needed to get control of his dog before it bit us.
There were some nice puppies with nice owners further down the beach though so it all balances out.
