Notes
This run started off kinda rough coming off of only like 6 hours of sleep and some beers with Kev, Coyer and Malik. Still made sure to hydrate well last night. Legs felt pretty tight for quite a while. I didn’t really start to feel good until around 6 in. Stopped a couple times to adjust my laces but thankfully figured it out around 5ish. No water because the fountains weren’t on. That was a bummer because the sun came out the last 3 or so and it warmed up pretty quick. Kept it pretty easy and controlled to save some energy for Coyer’s party. 65 over the last 7 days has me feeling pretty rough overall, definitely will need a day off next week.
I’m in much better shape than last summer. This had all the ingredients for a long run I would have bonked last year but ended up being really relaxed once I got into a groove.
Almost forgot to mention this little dog chased me out of its driveway. Normally I just stop, but this thing was tiny so I just out ran it lol.
