Really good run today out on the high trestle trail again. Felt waaay better than last week which is good

A) because It feels better to feel better

and

B) Even with all the work I put into this week, I still was able to recover well and feel good going into next week.

Fought to not creep the pace up too quickly. I wanted to make sure I stayed relaxed, but I still let my legs get away from me a little bit the last couple of miles with some stoplights. Running 7:20 - 7:30 on the bike path felt super easy and the 7:0X miles felt nice and smooth too. Soaked in an epsom salt bath when i got back.

I think my highest mileage week last year was like 52-53, so I am happy I already have exceeded that. Just need to consistently stay above 50. Minus the ski trips of course.

Went to the library this afternoon and got some new running books to read. It only took me like 5-6 days to finish Running With the Buffaloes. Can't wait to read them.
