Ran some 3 mile in mchenry, its actually a 3 mile fun-run/6.8 mile race. most of the better people were in the 6.8, But i still only finished like 5th in this. i think either 3rd or 4th in my age group depending on how old the person that won was. Guys went out nuts at the beginning, like sub 2:30 first half. I ran a 5:40 first mile, The second Mile may have been a little up hill, it was like 5:47ish i believe at 1.6 there was this turnaround there was a small downhill that really kick started me and i passed 2 or 3 of the guys that went out to fast. at about 2.5 i came up on the guy in 4th, and We ran together and I thought i broke him on a surge, but he ended coming back. I could have had him, but i wasnt sure how far the finish was, because my dads friend told him the race was like 3.2 (totally wrong). anyway, i for sure had more in the tank, but im happy with this. the last mile was 5:27. The coyles ended up being there for deidre to run
