Really good run this morning. Going to have to do longer runs than usually to make sure I am ready to at least finish that 30k. I was pretty wary of this distance and went out super slow to minimize the chance of blowing up. I had half a packet of gu before the run and took the second half at 6 miles.

The part of the trail I had never seen before from 6-7.5 was super cool, it was a beautiful morning. I turned around feeling really good at about 62 minutes, 8:15ish pace. Some rolling hills around mile 9 stung a little bit, but other than that the way back was really nice and the rest of the hills didn't really take much out of me. I had plenty of energy all the way to the end. Definitely feel like I had 16-17 in me if I kept running 7:40s.

It felt really good to finish my last mile as quick as I did. I definitely have more confidence going into this week. Hopefully my legs don't feel to crappy running 5 or 6 on Monday.
