Call it a tempo? 5x6 min tempo effort with 90s off. This is suspiciously close to mile repeats without calling them that. Legs/strides felt much better this morning. IT Band/Knee felt much better after the massage gun and hip stuff last night. Will keep doing that for sure.

Hard sections felt decent. Kept the effort pretty even through out, but sped up a bit as I got more warmed up and into a better rhythm. Did 4 around the school and then on the 5th one I headed off back towards home so I could cool down to 8. It also was a nice benefit of keeping the wind less in my face. Solid morning.

Pretty sure I've talked myself into the Grand Blue Mile next month which is going to be something. Definitely don't have the speed or cardio to make a mile feel like anything better that horrible. But figure we have to rip the bandaid off sometime.
