Notes

So my initial thought was that I would wear my super shoes to help save my legs a bit after running a tempo on Saturday. In actuality all they made me do is run much much faster than I would have and I thrashed my legs for the rest of the day.

Besides that it was a really good run. It was like 25ish at the start and maybe 35 at the finish so the cool temps had me feeling great. Ran out south of the dam and over the spill way before turning around. First mile back was like 120ft elevation loss which is what got me moving a bit. I kept telling myself to just still and stay relaxed but I just fell into the same quick rhythm. Felt really smooth through 10 and then mile 11 uphill I had to work a bit to maintain. 12 was quick but easy because it was the last one.

Solid week of running - I think Friday off was good for a little break.
