Notes

Rather good workout after not running yesterday. Was planning to run but it was a bad night of sleep by itself and then James kept waking up so I was tired all day yesterday. On top of that they sent James home with a fever. I just figured its better to miss out on a few miles than to really push when my body/head isn't right and get myself sick again.

Ended up laying down at like 7:30 last night and probably going to sleep at like 8. Woke up at 4:45 feeling OK and was out the door around 5:20. Legs felt pretty good from the start. Did 2 miles up and just went straight into the 3 mile tempo without stopping to do strides or anything. Tyson had a goal pace of 6:30. I figured I'd start 6:35-6:40 and work down. Which like I probably did, but my watch likes to gift me short miles so I'm taking the mile splits with a grain of salt.

Mixed feelings because on one hand its a really good run based on where I'm at now, but I'm still in this bad habit of comparing it to how this would have felt two years ago. Trending up though. So just need to be patient.

Did strides after the tempo because I was suppose to do some on a run yesterday.
