Didn't quite go as I had hoped; the course turned out to be much hillier than I anticipated and I started off too fast; my thighs started to feel really weak and sore after only 5 or 6 miles and I honestly just wanted to quit running after that but I'm glad I was able to somewhat salvage a decent performance by just trying to keep a rhythm the last several miles (even though it was a slow rhythm); maybe my legs weren't completely ready for a race effort but I'll be ready for Tom King...
