8 miles with 8x1:00 pickups at 5:15-5:30ish pace
Ran out and back toward Oakland High with the piece through the Northwoods subdivision added on since it is nice and flat for the faster portions; decided to make this a light fartlek by making all the recoveries close to 2min between the 1min pickups; didn't really do much looking at my watch since the data it shows is pretty useless anyways (only shows current lap pace); just made sure to push hard on the pickups and felt tired by the end even though this wasn't much volume at a fast pace; good workout to get started back up...
