Ran at night and there were tons of tourists/cars out which meant lots of stops; We wanted to run on Appia Antica which is a road created during the time of the Romans out of large chunks of cobblestone but the start of this road turned out to be very urbanized with tons of zooming cars and no place to step off the side of the road; once we hit the rural section it was much nicer but was hard to run on such uneven cobblestones; we ended up going too far on this road and had to find our way back to our hotel just as it was getting dark which lead to me taking a spill and somehow hurting my ribs on one side but I was okay and we found our way back on some very busy roads; this was yet another adventure for sure...
