Half-marathon race
Plan was to stick to 6:05-6:10 pace but that just wasn't going to happen on this day but happy I still salvaged the best effort I had in me for the day; the race itself was fun and the course was flat; enjoyed the trip with my dad too; think I'll shut it down for the season so I can start back up with marathon training for the summer/fall; I know my fitness has improved over this spring, I just need to keep at it and stay healthy and the fast times will eventually be the byproduct...
