8 miles with 10xhill blasts
Started off with the warmup with 3 strides in mile 3 and 1 stride in mile 4; felt pretty good from the get-go on the hill blasts and finished all 10 powerfully but once I started the cooldown, I started to feel a slight pain in my lower leg close to my calf which after googling looks to be the soleus tendon; Google said a minor soleus strain is typically just a dull ache and can be caused by increasing speed quickly especially up a hill which would explain why I started feeling it after my hill blasts...
