10x400m at 80ish with 200m slow jog recovery

Headed over to the Oakland track again with high schools out on Spring Break this week; before I finished the workout though, people from the Oakland track team started showing up but they said they had to wait for the coach before they started and he never showed up while I was there so had an audience for the last several intervals; with thunderstorms looming, it was really windy especially on the front stretch of the track which I had to fight every time; considering that, I was happy to hit 80 or 81 on most of them feeling pretty smooth; my breathing was getting hard by the end but I tried to focus on not letting my form deteriorate a lot like it usually does when I am trying to run really fast; good to work on some leg turnover sometimes to get faster!
