8 miles easy with 4x30sec pick-ups
Initial plan for today was hill blasts but knew I probably wouldn't get much benefit out of them because of the soreness, mainly in my calves, that has stuck around since the half on Saturday so I texted my coach and he replied back to just do 4 progressive strides during the run instead; the soreness actually got progressively better throughout the run and I ended up feeling pretty good on the pick-ups; I guess the hills on Saturday beat my legs up pretty good even though I didn't even race it-I think all the steep uphills and downhills in particular are to blame but hopefully my legs feel ready for a workout after one more night of sleep for recovery...
