3 miles warm-up with strides, 2 miles at 6:10ish, 1/2 mile jog, 2 miles at 6:10ish, 2 miles cooldown
Ran out and back on the greenway for the warm-up with the usual four strides; ran the tempo parts on the paved loop in the park; 32 degrees with 11mph winds so since it is a loop, one long stretch was a pretty strong headwind and another long stretch was a strong tailwind; felt like I kept a pretty even effort feeling in control of the pace throughout so a solid workout overall; happy to be getting back into tempo runs again to get ready for a strong spring racing season; 6:06 avg pace for the tempo portions...
