Great race at Wheaton Twilight. Hoping to go sub 16
Just hung in there for first mile, a little fast (5:05), second mile was a baj, lost focus for a second and felt like I was gonna die, hit an 80 sec lap and I thought I was toast, but refocused quick and the last mile I was able to hunt down some people, great kick on the last bit, almost not quick enough down the homestretch, but crossed the line in 15:59.74 which was super exciting. I thought I had gone 16:01, but that night Holle texted me to check online. Feels great to be sub 16. Mom Dad Kate and Caleb got to watch the meet and hang out with them the whole weekend. Great weekend
