Woke up this morning to the news that Josh went to the hospital in the middle of the night, mad that he wasn't gonna get to run. Drove down to Culver, it poured down rain the first couple races and the course was soaked, torn up and muddy. Times weren't gonna be good. We watched as our Varsity guys took down #5 nationally ranked Columbus North, it was their first loss in 2 and a half years. We beat them 92-100, and that was without EKinn, who sprained his ankle last night.
Our race I wanted to start out fast, but I got boxed in pretty good and I was out of it before it started. Gradually made up ground on Jevelo and Hitchcock and caught them. My last 2K were great, but my first 3K were so slow a good time wasn't gonna happen. Not happy with the race, got 7th overall in the JV race, but my time was worse than some of the guys in the frosh-soph. I'm 18th on the team, but Doc is gonna keep me. I hope to make it past the cut after MIC and carry momentum all the way to the state meet and beyond
