Well Mason Invitational this year, JV race. Varsity guys said to go out fast to avoid jostling. Me and Davis took it out for the first mile, coming through in 5:14 for the mile, fairly conservative. At the mile Cole and Jaedon overtook us. Kept running as a pack, Mulch Hill wasn't that bad, water hazards not too bad. Haybails hurt, not gonna lie. Tried to stay on Davis for most of the race, he slipped a little but I was able to reel him in. Not a great race, not happy with time, but all times were slow today, so I'm happy with mental toughness in the race. Davis was exactly 1 second ahead of me. Finished 5th and going to Trinity. Should be awesome, hope to break 16:30 at Trinity, if not faster
