Oh man did that suck. First few miles were nice and I felt alright, then around 5 miles I started to feel bad, by the time Fred and Lauren turned around, so I went with them instead of going for 18. Talked with them for a good bit until Fred went to drop us. Somehow Lauren and I held about 7 flat until the last mile and half-ish, but I was just dying in the last 3 miles. For kicks I wore my Soviet Union shorts cause Fred was wearing his flag shorts, I was surprised that no one said anything to me about it haha.
