I gave this a higher effort not because of my HR or the actual aerobic effort but because of the pain. I had to try running today. I was feeling really good after last nights walk and I thought I was ready but when I started running, my hamstrings which haven't been sore up to this point, decided to start yelling at me.
I don't think I was ready for this run but I'm glad I tried.
Recover is not going as well as I though it would. Maybe I have just forgotten what it was like last time or maybe it's taking longer since I ran faster. Who knows. Either way I can't wait until I can run at a normal pace with no pain.
