HOLY COW IT WAS WINDY TODAY!!! The gusts were killing me! We started off uphill into the wind. The good thing is that we went downhill with the wind to our backs. That was a nice reprieve.
I started off slow up the hill with a couple of slower people to keep myself in check and to say hi to them. As they all started to walk I kept on going and ran to the top and saw Gail there after a few minutes. Then I picked her up and ran with her the rest of the way. IT was so nice. We chatted with each other the whole way. She runs the perfect pace for me. We made a good running team.
