Notes
I won the mile in 5:17.5, which was a new personal best and a new school record for 7th graders at Whitefish Junior High School. For the first time all season, I decided to race without my sweat suit on. Yeah, I guess I should have done that sooner. This time when Elliott came up on me I was able to easily hold him off. We finished in a dead heat. To decide the placing, the judge asked for heads or tails. He picked heads, and it was tails, and I was the new county champion in the mile.
