EEEEEP I LOVE DETWEILER!!
This was an awesome race, it was so nice to actually have competition, to not have to lead, and to just RACE.
Being on the old state course helped me to snap back into the racing mindset-- it is going to hurt, just EMBRACE that pain. I was worried about being able to run with all of these fast D1 girls, but it worked out alright. I definitely could have given a little more the last 400, but Coach said beforehand that this was not a dive-at-the-line kind of race, so I just cruised in.
EIU wasn't there, so that a little bit of a bummer. It would have been fun to see Coach Erin (especially because she always tells Caroline about my race when she sees me run 🙃)
