Long run workout with Craig this morning. Tempo intervals of 2 by 2 miles at 5:30 pace.

We started at mile 6 at the top of the hill on Gray Road and had a bit of a downhill aid the first half mile. Ran 5:21 for that mile and it felt fine, the second mile was 5:30 and it felt a bit tougher than expected. Jogged a mile and sucked down a gel. Second rep in 5:28 and then 5:32. The first mile and a half of this rep felt pretty easy but things got kinda tough out of nowhere the last half mile but I finished it strong regardless.

Good day! Didn't feel the best but got the job done which has pretty much been the story since Shamrock. I've had two quality weeks in a row and I'm eager to see the work pay off. Might be testing the fitness next Saturday at the Carmel 10k down in Indiana but will depend on work and other things.
