Long - 12 Miles - This one was a little tough due to the lack of good running surface. It was alot of crunchy ice and snow under my feet that moved in unpredicatable ways with each step. It was a good workout for stabilizing muscles. I felt it alot in my hips. I also had some pain in my left knee and my right achilles. I hope that I did not overdo it from that standpoint. I picked it up over the last mile and a half where the footing was better. Basically miles 0-1.5 and 10.5-12 were good for footing, and the rest was terrible.
